Past
Duo Lon is a member of the assassin group, the Hizoku clan, the half-brother to Xiao Lon and is the third oldest son of Ron's nine legitimate children. As the son of the clan's leader, he was known as a "prince" of the Hizoku.
One fateful night, Ron betrayed the Flying Brigands and slaughtered as many people in the village as he could, including his own wife and the other Devas, labeling himself as a traitor by many of the group's members. Only a few of them, including Duo Lon and Xiao Lon, survived the burning village. The surviving members would reform and selected the most skilled of the survivors, Lin, Luan, Chat and Sai to become the new Four Devas.
After Ron's betrayal, his reputation with the remaining members declined as he was labeled "that traitor's son". At some point after the Four Devas left to hunt down Ron, Duo Lon did the same on his own, to train and perfect his art.

The King of Fighters 2003
Hoping to hunt down the clan's traitor, he partakes in several jobs as an assassin. One day, Ash Crimson mysteriously appears before him and makes his acquaintance. Through Ash, Duo Lon also meets Shen Woo. Liking their company enough to be friendly with them, he agrees to enter the 2003 tournament with them. Although they did not win, he disappears when he senses Ron's presence.
The King of Fighters XI
After discovering Ash's true objectives, he is invited to Elisabeth Blanctorche's mansion, along with Benimaru Nikaido. There, they discuss Ash's thievery of Chizuru's powers, the existence of Those From the Past, and their experiences during the 2003 tournament. The trio forms the Rival Team and track down Ash. They find him after he steals Iori Yagami's powers. Benimaru sees Shingo Yabuki and Kyo's beaten states and threatens Ash for an explanation. Before either members can interrogate him further, Ash teleports away and warns that Kyo will be next.
The King of Fighters XIII
Although he is still dedicated in his mission to hunt Ron, he is curious about Ash's intentions and respectfully parts ways with Benimaru. He meets up with Shen Woo to try to discover anything regarding their former teammate's whereabouts. At a dead end with his search, he remembers that Elisabeth had some connection with Ash and they work together to find her.
After Ash erased himself and Saiki from history, all memories of him were erased from all who knew him, including Duo Lon. In their team's ending, both he and Shen Woo respectively give Elisabeth time to mourn over Ash's "death".

One day, Duo Lon received two letters from Elisabeth. The first letter explained that she was sorry for staying out of touch so long, and that he should meet Shen in Shanghai. The second letter was a special invitation for KOF. Duo Lon, knowing that Shen would not arrive on time for his meeting, strolled through the streets of Shanghai, pondering on his past.
Duo Lon does not have any reason to join KOF anymore; the two times that he entered was for the sole purpose of finding information about Ron, all of which have given him results that had been less than what he had hoped. However, Duo Lon notices a KOF TV interview, featuring Elisabeth, a man in a hood, and an androgynous-looking man that looked familiar to him. After the man spoke, Duo Lon instantly remembers who he was; he was Ash Crimson, a man that was his friend and enemy in the past, and erased himself from existence. Filled with curiosity and intrigue, Duo Lon enters KOF.
At some point during the tournament, Duo Lon meets Elisabeth and Ash, the former he was happy to meet after a long time and the latter was not tolerating Ash's tricks. He also ran into Najd, a woman who fights for justice and has heard of the Hizoku clan's assassination jobs.
After the tournament, Ash and Elisabeth make phone calls to both Duo Lon and Shen Woo to meet up in Shanghai and celebrate Ash's return. This helps them fully recover their past memories with Ash. While Shen and Duo Lon arrive on time at a restaurant in Shanghai, Ash is as usual late for the reunion, this time because he has been busy shopping ever since he was revived, to Elisabeth's dismay.
