Osaki Shotaro (大崎将太郎), referred to as SHOTARO (Hangul: 쇼타로) is a Japanese rapper, singer and dancer, born in Kanagawa, Japan on November 25, 2000. He was a dancer and rapper of NCT U.
On May 24, 2023, SM Entertainment released a statement saying that SHOTARO and SUNGCHAN will no longer be promoting within NCT. Regarding their future plans, SM stated they will be debuting in a new boy group under the company apart from NCT, later revealed to be "RIIZE". SHOTARO also released a letter on his Instagram account about his departure from the group.[2][3]
