Woodie (alternatively spelt as Woody) is a statue erected next to the Wall of California within Packle's side. It was built by Michaelmcchill as a sign of protest against San Diego's decision to build the wall and to assert dominance against their faction.
History
On Day 12, Michaelmcchill discovered that the Sacramento valley had been divided by a wooden wall, separating the two factions' contiguous lands. He was informed by his chat that the wall was erected by Cooper earlier that day. Because of this, he was infuriated and decided to build a T-posing statue overlooking the other faction to assert dominance.
He then informed about the wall to his faction members, Wuna301 and RoastedJames who were online at the time, as well as other streamers such as KaraCorvus and IAmSp00n. All of them flocked to the valley and contributed in creating the design for the statue. Michael used acacia logs to build the basic structure of the statue, before switching to acacia planks. As the rudimentary structure of the statue was completed, Kara decided to add two coal blocks on the head as eyes, with wooden buttons as pupils.
Soon more and more additions and modifications were done on the statue including:
- levers as the character's hairs (both on head and pubic)
- spruce stairs added to the face by Kara to symbolise a smile (though Michael then had it removed as the character was supposed to be angry)
- acacia stairs as the gaping mouth
- torches then switched to wooden buttons as nipples
- acacia planks and stairs placed on its lower half as genitals resting on the wall
- acacia stairs placed on the back of its lower half as buttocks
- redstone dusts to show that the character is "sh*tting blood"
- a pair of upside-down quartz stairs on both of its ears as earpods
- wooden logs and several iron bars as a prison shank
Two signs were placed at the other side of the fence in the San Diegan side that describe the statue's name as Woodie and how occassionally he would "leave [them] gifts".
Since then, Woodie has become the official mascot of the faction. A reddit user, u/Gasoline2013, created a flag for the faction and featured Woodie as the symbol of strength and dominance of the faction. The flag was inspired from the real-life Californian flag. The creator then revised the design to properly match its source, to which Allanah adopted it onto the server as the faction's official flag and flown on the faction's base on Day 27.
