Around 2002, Indonesia was seemingly at war with the United States of America. Smallville native Whitney Fordman served in the United States Marine Corps, during the war, and was killed in action.[2]
In 2010, professional assassin Deadshot killed seven oil executives in Jakarta, Indonesia.[3]
