Legacy of Great Intention/Resurrection of the Dark Dragon
Max meets Boken for the first time in Rindo. After that, you see him just about every other place you go. In Waral, step on the big fish and he'll jump out of the ocean. He is mostly just a teaser until you are thrown into jail in Prompt and he lets you out.
Shining Soul II
He meets the hero in the forest at the beginning and help them teach the basics and show them the way to the colosseum at Klantol Castle. Later, he ends up being killed when venturing in the Graveyard, and his soul was wandering around his body, but was resurrected after the hero thrown the Boken's Soul at his wandering soul. He then headed back towards Klantol Castle and stayed at the tavern, taking an interest for Irma.
