The Ancients were the people who lived long ago and had access to high technology and abilities. In the current timeline of the games, they have long since vanished but their works remain. Some of their creations have sentience and the ability to grow stronger such as Zynk. They were highly advanced and intelligent and were said to have created the other races such as Human and Elf. Other creations of the Ancients include the Nazca Ship, the Magic Tunnels and the robots Adam and Chaos.
