Barometz (バロメッツ Baromettsu) is a Crimson Lord and the leader of Color Thieves. His true name is "Tip of the Lurching Tree" (踉蹌の梢 Rōsō no Sue).
Appearance
In his humanized form, Barometz takes an appearance of a young man wearing coat full of patches from various clothes.
His true form, with the usage of Mysteria, is described in the story as a "Colorful Chimera" (極彩色のキメラ Gokusaishiki no Kimera).

Background
Barometz is considered to be just a half-baked Unrestricted Spell Master. When he comes to the Human World, he has to constantly live in hiding from enemies.
He is one of many Crimson Denizens that migrate to Xanadu after the end of the Second Great War. Barometz makes use of infinite amount Power of Existence in Xanadu to improve his Unrestricted Spells: Mars (
Barometz lures in many Crimson Denizens who wish to be stronger by performing "surgery" to put Mysteria on their bodies. Those who received the surgeries do get stronger from borrowed strength, but they do not realize that they have also become Barometz's offshoots under his control. Barometz continues to expand his sphere of influence in Xanadu, with his base of operation in a ghost town located in a wasteland in the Northeastern United States known as "Eden" (桃源 Eden, lit., "Peach Spring").

- Barometz, or Vegetable Lamb of Tartary, is a legendary Zoophyte (an animal that visually resembles plant) from Central Asia which is believed to grow sheep as its fruit. The sheep would feed on the grass and plants surrounding it. When all foods within reach were eaten, the lamb died.
- It is not revealed what color of flame Barometz originally possesses, as his multiple flame colors is due to stealing from others.
