Treasure is a game developer and publisher that worked closely with SEGA during the Genesis/Mega Drive era.

Games

Games developed for SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis:

  1. Gunstar Heroes: 1993. A co-operative run and gun game known for its frantic gameplay and customization options, and is also Treasure's first game. It sold very well and is one of Treasure's more somewhat widely-known titles.
  2. McDonalds Treasure Land Adventure: 1993. A platformer game starring McDonald's mascot Ronald McDonald.
  3. Yu Yu Hakusho Makyō Tōitsusen: 1994. A fighting game based around the popular Manga and Anime by Yoshihiro Togashi.
  4. Dynamite Headdy: 1994. A run and gun platformer starring a puppet called Headdy that could attack using various heads.
  5. Alien Soldier: 1995. A run and gun game known for its focus on boss battles.
  6. Light Crusader: 1995. An isometric Action-Adventure game with roleplaying and platforming elements.

Games developed for SEGA Saturn:

  • Guardian Heroes: 1996. A Golden Axe-style side scrolling game with RPG elements. Golden Silver from Gunstar Heroes also appears in this game under a slightly different appearance.
  • Silhouette Mirage: 1997. A sidescrolling run and gun game which is known for its unique gameplay styles.
  • Radiant Silvergun: 1998. A shoot 'em up.

Games developed for SEGA Dreamcast:

  • Bangai-O. 1999. A multidirectional shooter game starring a mech.
  • Ikaruga. 2001. A spiritual sequel to Radiant Silvergun.
