Sega Smash Pack

Sega Smash Pack is a series of game compilations featuring mostly Sega Mega Drive games. Sega Smash Pack games have been released for the PC, Sega Dreamcast, and the Game Boy Advance.

In 2006, a similar collection named Sega Mega Drive Collection (Sega Genesis Collection in North America) was released for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable.

Versions

PC

The first Sega Smash Pack was released in 1999 for the PC.
It was a compilation of eight emulated Sega classics. It contained the following games:

Its follow-up, known as Sega Smash Pack 2, was released in 2000.
Again, it was a compilation, containing the following games:

In 2002, Sega Smash Pack: Twin Pack was released on PC, and it contained both of the above collections combined. However, the game had issues when it was played on the Windows XP operating system. written by a Sega employee and elaborating on the emulator used in the Dreamcast version, however, at the end it states "Pay your respects to Uncle Sonic, Sony just doesn't get it," alluding to Sega's dropping out of the hardware business after the debut of the PlayStation 2.

Game Boy Advance

It was ported a second time to consoles, this time on the GBA as Sega Smash Pack and was released in 2002. It featured three games, two of which had been in previous Smash Packs. These two games were Golden Axe and Sonic Spinball, and the third game was Ecco the Dolphin. This collection was criticized for several technical issues and lack of cooperative multiplayer in Golden Axe.

The three games included are:
