
Not to be confused with the 1987 game know as Great Soccer in North America, but World Soccer everywhere else.
Great Soccer is a football/soccer sports title created by Sega for the Master System and released in 1985.
Gameplay
At the title screen players will choose either 1 player or 2 player modes. If 1 player is selected, there is a level a CPU level select of 'Amateur', 'Semipro' or 'Professional'.
Player 1 is in red, and player 2 is in blue.
A colored arrow will appear above the player that is currently controlled, with a white arrow indicating who will recieve the ball when the player passes the ball.
When defending the player controls both the goalkeeper and the defenders at once.
Players will play two halfs of five minute gameplay, with the goals swapping for the second half.
Trivia
- This title is one of only two titles in the Great Sports series that released on a Sega Card in Europe. The other was Great Tennis, otherwise known as Super Tennis in Europe.
