Brian Avery was the stuntman that wore the Ghostface costume in Scream 3 (2000). He was also a stunt double for David Arquette. He also portayed The Lakewood Slasher in the Pilot Episode of the TV Series.
Scream
Avery stated that it got hot and sweaty in the mask while filming, and the chin served as a "sweat reservoir", so when he would go back into the trailer after a shoot and lie down on his bed, the sweat would pour back onto his face.
He did not return to be the stuntman for Ghostface in Scream 4, because Dane Farwell reprised the role. However, he did return to do stunts on Scream 4, including as David Arquette's stunt double.
