Biography
Death

Angelina Acomb was a 25-year-old woman and the loving sister of Mark Hoffman, a homicide detective, who worked for the Metropolitan Police Department. At one point, she was also the girlfriend of a man named Seth Baxter. However, Seth was a criminal and was involved in a drug offense. Therefore, he was arrested but eventually released on probation. A bit more than a week later, he engaged in a domestic dispute with Angelina, who wanted to go to a farewell party of one of her colleagues without him. During their argument, Seth attacked Angelina and slit her throat, killing her in the process. (Saw V)
Post-Mortem

Angelina was found soon afterward by one of her colleagues, who had become worried about her as she didn't come to the party despite having talked about it all week. After the discovery of her corpse, her brother was informed about her death and immediately went to her flat. When he arrived, he yelled at his colleagues, who initially wanted to prevent him from entering the apartment. Upon seeing the dead body of his sister, he suffered a breakdown and started to cry.
Seth was eventually apprehended and sentenced to life in prison. Meanwhile, Mark had organized Angelina's funeral, during which members of the press were present as well and reported her tragic fate to the public. However, he was never able to get over her death and began to suffer from severe depression. (Saw V)
