Taehyung (태형) was the 3rd friend Seokjin would originally meet after visiting Namjoon in the jail. Taehyung was taken by police for murdering his father in a fit of anger.
History
In the prologue of the story, Taehyung was crying crying and a broken bottle was seen with him and his hands are soaked with blood. This scene was shown in the BTS MV I NEED U (19+ version.
Time Leaps
- 1st round of leap: Taehyung was first mentioned in chapter 1, where Namjoon tells Seokjin that he has no idea where Taehyun is. Later, Seokjin finds a huge crowd of reporters and a police car detaining Taehyun. Seokjin overhears that Taehyun murders his father as shown in the I NEED U 19+ version, Taehyun's alcoholic father commonly abuses him and his sister. In a fit of anger, he killed his father who is again abusing his sister. For the first time since 2 years ago, Seokjin meets Taehyun who stares back at him with empty eyes. (Episode 1)
- 2nd round of leap: Taehyung didn't appear because Seokjin rewinds the time after seeing Jungkook dying. (Episode 2)
- 3rd round of leap: Seokjin finally remembers each time he does time travel. Taehyung was seen to be by himself writing graffiti on the wall. (Episode 2)
- 4th round of leap: Taehyung didn't appear because Seokjin rewinds the time after seeing Yoongi dying. (Episode 2)
- 5th round of leap: Taehyung didn't appear becayse Seokjin rewinds the time after seeing Yonongi dying]] (Episode 5)
- 6th round of leap: Taehyun was detained at the police station in chapter 5. Somebody called Namjoon, after hearing about this Namjoon and Jungkook came to help him. While walking on the streets, Namjoon asked about Yoongi to which Taehyun responded teasingly, "I saw him in my dream" while Jungkook looked troubled upon hearing Yoongi's name. (Episode 6)
- 7th round of leap: Everyone inside Seokjin's car as they make their way to the said hotel that Yoongi was staying through Taehyung's guesswork. They got in a accident with a truck and Seokjin regrets putting everyone's lives in another danger. (Episode 6)
- 8th round of leap: Seokjin realized his hastiness in saving everyone and as he wakes up in his bed after going back in time, he mapped the directions where each accidents would happen in search for the quickest possible way to save Yoongi. (Episode 6)
