Percival is a Sword Art Online player and member of the Royal Knights.
Appearance
He has neck-length dark brown hair and yellow eyes. He wears a vest and trousers, colored black and violet with an orange trim. On his pants, he wears a brown belt with the symbol of the Royal Knights on its silver buckle. He also dons wrap-up sandals. On his right hand, he has a violet and orange wristband.
He Carries the sheath of his dagger on the left side of his belt and the sheath of his spear on his back. While not on battles nor on a mission, he wears a white long t-shirt on his shoulders.
Personality
Percival is the most relaxed member of the guild. Generally joking with others and keeping up the spirit among the group, especially in difficult situations. When someone is sad, he tries to cheer up him or her. Everybody likes Percival for his value of friendship.
He also tended to be sometimes distracted and confused. When someone or something threatens to hurt one of his friends, without thinking it, he is the first one to show up, and save that person.
Background
He attends school as every typical boy of his age. Among his classmates are his friends: Galant, Lance, Guinevere, Gawn, Dagonet, Bors, Tristan, and Galahad. Thanks to the last one's father, they obtained the game Sword Art Online and the NerveGear. They log in and soon discover that they can't log out. When Kayaba Akihiko reveals his true intentions in creating SAO, they create a guild called the "Royal Knights".

Galant
Percival is a late friend of Galant, that joined the group alongside Galahad and Tristan.
Percival acts as Galant's right-hand man at the time of recognition and hunting, alongside Percival's best friend, Tristan. He also tends to keep up the spirit in the guild in hard situations and acts as neutral when there is a conflict inside the guild.
Gawn
Percival and Gawn are very close friends. Though they are not often seen together they are the "jokers" inside the guild and the group of friends.
Guinevere
Percival is another of Guinevere's friends, as he also confronts her, especially when he was sad during the first days of SAO, a thing not even Galant could do. Since that moment they also standard as good friends.

- Etymology:
- The kanjis for Ikuto (郁人) mean "cultural" and "person". The name as a whole means "flourishing person".
- The kanjis for Kazami (風見) mean "wind" and "see". The surname as a whole means "wind watching".
