The Crimson Castle, also referred to as the Crimson Keep, is a castle located in the King's Acre of the Ever After. It houses the Red Prince, formerly the Red King. It is first seen at the end of "Altercation at the Auspicious Auction".
Description
The Crimson Castle is located on top of a large hill in the Red Forest Acre, with a spiralling path leading up to the entrance. In the front of the castle, there is a pathway leading up to the castle with large red hedges surrounding it. The red trees have been trimmed into more polygonal shapes surrounding the castle.

The castle has many red spires of varying non-symmetrical heights, the tallest of which is located in the center, with no walls and instead being an open structure filled with bells.
Directly beneath the central spire is the Red Prince's game room, in which there is a large wooden chess-like board at the center of the room. There are multiple Pawns littered across the chessboard, in red and white variants. There are two seats beside the table, one of which being the prince's throne, and the other being a simple stool for guests. The floor in this room has a red and white checkerboard pattern. Surrounding the room is a large empty chasm, rather than immediate walls, in which there is no discernable bottom.

There are many sets of spiraling staircases surrounding the room, comprised of alternating red and white steps. These stairs lead to further areas of the castle, with many non-Euclidean corridors. There are fully walled corridors that connect sections of the castle, as well as more open corridors. Such open corridors are winding paths that connect the many red doors scattered throughout the castle, with a gray and white checkerboard patterned flooring. There are also many sets of more simple staircases interspersed between these corridors. In one corridor, there is a secret passageway that leads to an exit of the castle.
Within the castle, many Toy Soldiers and Toy Guards are stationed throughout to ensure the safety of the prince. The Soldiers are more often seen patrolling the castle, while the Guards are typically stationed nearby the prince, though there are some roaming Guards.
Trivia
- The design of the castle's interior was heavily inspired by works of M.C. Escher, as to differentiate it from locations in Remnant, as well as to tie it into the Alice in Wonderland themes of the Ever After without relying too strongly on it.[1]
