The Grappling Hook is a pistol-like grappling device that can attach onto various objects. The grappling hook is most commonly used by Freelancer Agent Carolina.

- Carolina: During a battle at the Bjørndal Cryogenics Research Facility, Agent Carolina used her grappling hook to grab a Heavy Machine Gun Turret and cause it to destroy a platform, killing several Insurrectionists. Later on, Carolina utilizes her grappling hook to catch the Sleeveless Insurrection Soldier in Spiral by jumping across numerous buildings. During Season 10, Carolina rescues Wash from a nuclear explosion by attaching the hook onto his groin and during True Colors, Carolina attaches the hook to a Frag Grenade in order to fend off multiple Tex drones. Most notably, Carolina uses the hook to save her own life, after she is thrown off a cliff by the Meta in Party Crasher. Following Sharkface's death, she kept the grappling hook, using it in Great Destroyers to catch up to the mercenaries and to cut them off from the entrances to the Purge.
- Sharkface: Sharkface first uses a grappling hook in Dish Best Served, in order to drag Carolina into a tunnel during their fight at the Eastern Mountain Range. Later on, in Armonia, Part 2, Sharkface utilizes his hook in order to chase Carolina aboard the monorail and later lost it to her during the fight.
