The Gnome Mage is a level 68 gnome that spawns along with a level 60 gnome archer and a level 66 gnome driver after a mounted level 72 tortoise is killed.

They shoot a bluish projectile at the player when they attack. After the tortoise has been killed the gnome mage and his comrades will simultaneously attack the player that killed the tortoise. If the player they engage flees, they become nonaggressive, and eventually disappear when the tortoise respawns.
