This is a powerful weapon battery that supplements the other Bydo Shot point defense batteries possessed by Warships. The Laser Tower Block fires a pair of lasers that can penetrate cleanly through Force devices. This weapon will continue to fire even after being separated from the host vessel. The Laser Tower Block only fires when there's a target in front of it. It is called "Gillpod" in R-Type Final 2.
