Ceding is a diplomatic option on which you can transfer cities to other country.
Usage
To access the cede option, simply choose a city/group of cities. There will be a button to cede to whichever country you want. To cede, you have to wait the new ruler timer which is 500 seconds, about 2 in-game years; this is to prevent exploitation and rule-breaking. Both countries, the person ceding, and the person receiving the cities, cannot be at war, you also cannot cede to another nation if you're at war with the exception of VIP server console settings and ceding to puppet nations. If you attempt to cede a city to a country at war, or if you are at war, a message in red text will appear in the bottom left corner, saying "Both countries must be at peace!"
The cede limit is about 40 million, meaning that when selecting a territory with more than 40 million population, the entire territory with all of its cities won't be ceded, while only the most populated cities will. The limit will then reset after 500 seconds have passed.
Trivia
- If you attempt to cede land owned by another nation without the "Override Cede Restrictions" setting enabled in private servers, a message will pop up and say "boi you aint own dat."
