Metro West was a precinct of the Detroit Police Department, most notable for being where RoboCop was stationed when he was first put on the streets.
History
By the time Alex Murphy was transferred from Metro South to Metro West, the precinct was underfunded by OCP and the officers were in the midst of planning a strike.[1]
Following Murphy's murder, he was rebuilt as RoboCop and was stationed at the precinct. The precinct was deserted when the police department went on strike due to Lt. Hedgecock following orders given by Dick Jones to destroy RoboCop.[1] By the following year, he was transferred to Metro North, along with Warren Reed and Anne Lewis.[2] However, by the time the Rehabs had been put into action, the three were transferred back to Metro West.[3]
