Snow

Snow is a block obtained by shoveling snow piles in the Hub or by opening Christmas presents. Snow piles spawn in the Hub on top of the mountains and give snow when shoveled.

Obtaining

Natural generation

Snow can be obtained by shoveling a pile of snow with a stone shovel or Christmas shovel in the Hub mountains. One pile of snow will give 1 - 2 snow.

Christmas presents

Opening a Christmas present 2020 or Christmas present 2021 has a chance of rewarding snow. The exact amount and chance of getting snow is unknown for the former, and there is a 15% chance of receiving 5 snow from the latter.

Transforming

The transformation ratio is 1:3, meaning 1 snow makes 3 snowballs in a snowball machine. It doesn't require any gamepass to use, but it does to place the machine.

December 16, 2022	Christmas present 2022s can now spawn on snow in the player's island.

Trivia

As part of the Christmas 2020 event, snow piles used to spawn everywhere around the hub. Since the event has ended on January 4, 2021, it only spawned in the Hub Mountains in small amounts before the Hub was revamped in the October 18, 2021 event.
This was the only block that was not made unobtainable after the Christmas 2020 event had ended.
