A ruby is an item used to craft ruby-themed items.

Obtaining

The Azarathian Serpent has a 5% chance dropping a ruby upon defeat.

Bhaa has a 10% chance of dropping a ruby upon defeat.

April 1, 2022	Decreased the drop chance from Bhaa from 20% to 10%.
June 25, 2022	Rubies can now be used to craft ruby swords.
July 30, 2022	Rubies can now be obtained from quests.
August 6, 2022	6 rubies can now be obtained by completing the quest, "Desert Heat", up from 2.
September 17, 2022	Rubies can now be used to craft golden shortbows.
October 28, 2022	Rubies can now be used to craft ruby disco balls.
November 4, 2022	Rubies can now be used to craft purple pet egg stands.
March 17, 2023	Rubies can now be dropped from the Azarathian Serpent.

This and gold ingots are the only minerals that can be dropped by a boss.
In the "Desert Heat" quest, rubies are referred to as "Rubys" instead of "Rubies."
