Rain is one of the two weather types introduced in the April 4, 2021 update.
Appearance
Rain droplets are portrayed as lines of light blue moving downward. When a droplet comes in contact with an object, it makes a splash by having the line burst into bouncing blue dots.
Behavior
Rain is more likely to occur during the spring, but can also occur in the summer, fall and winter seasons. Rain occurs simultaneously for the entire server. Rain can be seen on the player's island, Hub, and all other islands. The duration of rain is 5 to 10 minutes.
Rain enables frogs to spawn on the player's island, and while it does not guarantee to always spawn a frog, it is also spawn multiple frogs in one period. Rabbits can also spawn when it is raining in the winter.
