A bucket is a tool used to carry water, milk, yak milk, or lava.

Usage
Collecting water and lava
Players can collect water by clicking on any water source block or body of water, and collect lava by clicking on any lava source block or lava pool in the Underworld, both while holding a bucket. The bucket will turn into a water bucket or lava bucket after collecting water or lava respectively.
Milking
After feeding a cow or yak, players can milk the animal by holding a bucket or inserting empty buckets into an industrial milker. The bucket will be dispensed as a milk bucket or a yak milk bucket respectively.

Trivia
- Before the September 18, 2021 update, using an empty bucket on a lava pool would fill the bucket with water instead of lava.
- Despite having a crafting recipe of iron ingots, exclusively, the Bucket cannot be crafted via the Anvil.
