The Thunder Ax is the ax used by Shee Yee, the first Hmong shaman.
Description
The thunder ax has a black handle with a dragon with a ruby for an eye engraved in the head. After giving the only leaf of the Tree of Souls to the Nature spirits of the mountain, their queen turns it into a metal comb with a dragon on it so that Pahua can transport it easier. It can turn into an ax if a ruby is touched.

Pahua and the Soul Stealer
Pahua Moua journeys to the Tree of Souls with Miv and Zhong Vang to find the ax to save her brother. After obtaining it, Pahua and Zhong realize Miv is missing and capture a Poj Ntxoog who was left behind. They head to their camp to save Miv but realize he is not there and they are attacked with Pahua using the ax to destroy the poj ntxoog when Zhong is hurt. Pahua uses it to free Miv when fighting the Bridge Spirit and to defeat Xov when she inadvertently breaks one of the seals imprisoning him.
Trivia
- The ax can change size to allow the wielder to use it.
