The Aviary Intern is a cameo character that appears in Rio. He is an intern who works with Tulio at the Centro de Conservaçāo Ambiental. He is voiced by Phil Miler.
Bio
He only appears was when Tulio was presenting his aviary to Linda and Blu to introduce Jewel to them. When Tulio describes Jewel as a "very spirited bird", the Aviary Intern reply "I'll say", as his badly scratched face is shown to them. Blu reacts to his face by saying "She did that?", immediately wanting to go back to his home in Minnesota.
Appearance
He is a young man with brown hair who wears a white coat. On his face, he got multiples scratches (which were caused by Jewel) and a bandage.

- He is seen sitting next to a bird which might be a Blue Pitta.
