Namco Ltd. (株式会社ナムコ Kabushiki Kaisha Namuko) is a Japanese corporation best known as a former video game developer and publisher. Namco is the creator of Pac-Man and several video game series, one of them being the Ridge Racer series.
Following a merger in 2006, it had become Bandai Namco Games. The standalone Namco brand continues to live on through various means.
As a manufacturer
Namco has manufactured three special machines throughout the entire series. Most of them are considered special machines. Its logo takes form of Pac-Man.
