Vague Adgard (ヴェイグ・アドガルド) is a prince of Gusteko who is known throughout the world as the Mad Prince, one of the three people said to be on par with the Kingdom's Reinhard van Astrea in terms of overall martial skill, alongside the Empire's Cecilus Segmunt and the City-States's Halibel.
Appearance
Vague has white hair and blue or gold eyes that give off a strong impression.
Personality
The Mad Prince, perhaps befitting of his title, is considered crazed. He despises spirits and is not above murdering his own blood relatives.
History
Vague was born as a true descendent of the royal blood of Gusteko. For unknown reasons, he killed 15 or 16 of his siblings, was branded a national traitor, and was subsequently imprisoned and confined to Gusteko's northernmost tower.[1][2]
Abilities
Divine Protections (加護, Kago): Though presently unknown which ones, Vague is said to have more than one Divine Protection.
Great Power: As Vague's martial skill is said to be the greatest in Gusteko, he presumably possesses great power.
Trivia
- Before being named in the story, the author provided details regarding the Mad Prince in the 10th Anniversary Twitter Space in 2022 and at a talk show held on March 30, 2024, the latter of which revealed his name, Vague Adgard.
- According to the author, although he does not believe Vague will appear in the main story as of now, it is not impossible for him to emerge in the future.
