Santa Claus

Santa Claus is a character featured in the Season Four episode The Christmas Special. He is voiced by the late Ed Asner.

Appearance

Santa Claus doesn't look a lot like how most people imagined he'd look like (he says TV producers made that appearance up). He has really long hair, which he has tied back into a ponytail. He wears a black jacket that is unbuttoned, revealing a red shirt, which is tucked in. He also wears brown pants, a belt, and a red scarf. The only things people got right about him were his beard and white hair. He doesn't wear a Santa hat. He also isn't fat at all, in fact, he has a six-pack. Santa also wears a bulletproof vest under his shirt.

History

Prior to the episode, Up in the north pole, Santa was approached by an elf named Quillgin, revealing a gift that allows anyone to open it get what they want. However, when it was discovered that gift contain dark magic, where it would cause people to fight over what inside. So Santa had the idea scrapped, even locking the box up and destroying all of notes.

However months later, Quillgin manage to steal the box and Santa's sled, where Santa is riding on a flying snowboard, chasing Quillgin as the two are fighting over a red box which he manages to obtain it, only to fall from the sky after being shot at and crashed into The Park or most importantly Skips' House.

Later when Mordecai and Rigby went to Skip's house to get more sodas for the party, they encountered Santa, who they believed isn't the real Santa as he wasn't fat or Jolly like he is in the movies and tv shows. Santa then revealed that for years he has been getting letters from them for an invisibility cloak, which he never gave them since it was against the rules to give out magical gifts for Christmas and warns them about the red box. He then disappeared for the middle of the episode as Mordecai and Rigby manage to convince the others about Santa, and who needed to go to East Pines to throw the box in the lava.

Santa then reappeared, all healed from the wounds as he used a invisibility cloak to snatched Quillgin's gun and threw it in the lava pit (which he revealed that while the rules state he can't give out magical gifts, he is allowed to make them) and along with Mordecai and Rigby manage to destroy the box and saved Christmas, even dropping everyone back to the house.

While not seen, Mordecai and Rigby found a note from Santa, revealing that he gave them the invisibility cloak they wanted, as a thanks for saving Christmas.
