The White Lily Arc is the 90th story arc covered in the Ranma ½ manga, spanning two chapters. This story was included in Volume 32 of the Weekly Shōnen Sunday tankōbon and volume 30 of the Viz Media tankōbon.
Plot Summary
Kodachi's childhood rival, Asuka Saginomiya, returns for the judgment of the outcome of a childhood challenge about which of them would have the better boyfriend after ten years, to be adjudicated via a double-date. After Ranma is struck by a trap set by Asuka, and Akane encourages Ranma to accept Kodachi's request to stand as her boyfriend for the purposes of the challenge. Although Ranma turns out impressively, when Asuka finally reveals her "boyfriend," Akane and Kodachi are both awestruck and immediately admit that Kodachi has lost... until it is revealed that the supposed "boyfriend" was actually some other girl's boyfriend whom Asuka has chloroformed in the middle of his date with his real girlfriend.
