The survivor is one of the two roles that can be played in Propnight. Their objective is to escape the map before the timer runs out or the killer eliminates all 4 survivors.
In order to escape, survivors must repair 5 Propmachines out of the total 7 on the map, and open and leave through one of the two Exit Doors.
Survivors
There are currently 10 playable survivors:
Survivor Mechanics
Health
Survivors have 100 max health points and regenerate health with a rate of 5 HP per 30 seconds. Survivors' health regeneration cap at 70% (70 HP when human form).After losing all of their HP, the survivor will be downed, being forced to crawl on the floor at a slower speed.
- In this state the Killer can pick up the survivor and place them in a Hypnochair.
- After 45 seconds, the survivor will get up with 60 hp;
- While the killer is transporting the survivor the timer does not run out.
Hypnochairs
- Survivors die after being chaired 3 times, or if the timer runs out while in a chair.
- If the Survivor is on the first chair and the timer goes below 60 seconds, then they will die on their next chair, skipping the second chair phase.
- Survivors can save other survivors while they are on the ground or on a chair, unless the killer used chains.
Abilities
Each survivor has their own unique ability, which they can use throughout the match.
Perks
Perks are passive effects that can be equipped to a survivor. Each survivor starts off with a single perk slot, and gets two more at level 5 and level 10, respectively. Propmachines
Survivors may only repair Propmachines in Survivor form.
Prop Mechanics
One of the main mechanics of Propnight is the ability of the survivors to transform into a prop.
In prop form, survivors fully take on the appearance of their chosen object, allowing them to hide about the map and avoid the killer's notice. In Prop form, survivors also gain the ability to stun a killer by jumping on them, and potentially become more manouverable, gaining the ability to double-jump and wall-jump.
Health
Survivors health points scale with the size of the prop they transform into:
- 40 health for small props;
- 60 health for medium-small props;
- 80 health for medium-large props;
- 100 health for large props.
Movement
The way props move is different to how survivors move when not in prop form. In prop form, survivors do not have a stamina bar, and so are unable to move faster at will. Instead, props rely upon gaining momentum by timing their jumps correctly in order to achieve higher speeds.
The speeds you can achieve as a prop are affected by the size of prop you choose to become. Smaller props are faster, and easier to avoid the killer with, but in turn they grant you a smaller health pool, meaning when/if the killer catches you, it takes less damage for you to be downed. Larger props are slower, and harder to avoid the killer with, but have a higher health pool, meaning you can take more damage with them. However, given you are larger, slower and easier to hit, this does not give you an advantage when the killer is chasing you.
Stun
Whilst in Prop form, survivors can stun the killer at any time by jumping on them. A successful stun incapacitates the killer for a few seconds and grants the survivor some Prop coins. Stunning the killer whilst they are carrying a downed survivor causes them to drop that survivor, allowing them to escape and preventing the killer from placing them in a Hypnochair.
