Kakusei, or Awakening in English, is a Japanese pop rock song featured in the movie Promare. The song can be found in Superfly's Ambitious album alongside "Kori Ni Tojikomete[1]."
On January 12th, 2020, Superfly posted a Youtube video of a live performance music video[2].

Background
The song was first announced as one of the movie's theme songs on April 5th, 2019. In the announcement, lead singer Shiho Ochi comments on the song's themes of freedom, meditation, and humanity. The usage of chanting is to act akin to spell casting or a religious chant as "Mahari" and other words were made up via Katakana. This enforces a build-up of power within, hence the themes of meditation[3].
Various trailers and PVs used the song to promote the film and a few events. An official live music video was also made for the band itself. Fans typically view the song as Lio’s theme song.
