Amal is a young girl and the daughter of Kamau who was taken hostage by a tyrannical Queen named Ima. She was used by Ima as leverage in order to force her father to obey and become Ima's soldier.

Appearance

Much like her father, Amal is a dark-skinned human. She has almost no hair on her head except for her long black ponytail held by a golden ring or a red hair tie before her capture. the neckline of her yellow dress is a turtleneck and lacks sleeves. Before her capture her dress used to be red in colour.

Personality

Amal is presented as an innocent child who loves her father dearly. Prior to her kidnapping, she displayed a somewhat aggressive side when she tried to kill a spider, contrary to her father who gently released it.

Despite her young age, Amal displayed a good amount of bravery. During her time as prisoner of Ima, it appeared that Amal would comply with the tyrant, trying not to show fear and make the most of her situation. During the revolt, Amal would help her father locate the Colossaeus' other slaves.

History

Previously being a denizen of an unnamed African civilization, she used to live a peaceful life, that is before the Egyptians kidnapped her people. In order to protect his daughter, Kamau attacked in self-defense only to have Ima hold her hostage.

It is known that Amal has a loving relationship with her father. She appears to look up to her father and enjoys being by his side, often getting on his shoulders. During her kidnapping, she was eager and happy to be with her father if only for a few moments which Ima would permit. She had been visibly distraught by all the terrible deeds that Ima forced her father to do.
