Sawaizumi Nao (沢泉なお)? is a minor character who appears in Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure. She is Chiyu and Touji's mother and the owner of the Sawaizumi Hot Spring Inn.
Bio
Appearance
Nao has black hair tied back into a bun with brown eyes. She wears a pale green traditional Japanese kimono with a yellow belt that has a red string tied around it and a pale pink layer beneath it. She wears white socks and lilac colored sandals.
Personality
Nao is a gentle and kind lady who is determined to serve her customers well when they stay at the inn. She cares about her family, and respects their wishes.
Relationships
- Sawaizumi Chiyu: Her daughter. Nao has great faith and love for Chiyu, and knows Chiyu can find out what she really wants in life.
History
Nao first appears in episode 3, asking Kawai-san to check the inn's water source, and is relieved to know that it is fine after her daughter and employee tell her so.
In episode 17, she allows Chiyu and Touji to volunteer to help with the inn after some of her staff take the day off. When Chiyu asks her about her mother's professional hospitality to the guests, she admits to Chiyu that she still has a lot to learn from her mother and is later glad that Chiyu has grown a stronger sense of belonging to the inn.
After learning that Chiyu wants to become an athlete while also helping with the inn in the future in episode 41, Nao supports Chiyu's dream, and is happy that Chiyu has finally settled on what she truly wants.
Nao later learns that Chiyu and her friends are Pretty Cure in episode 44. However, she decides to keep the knowledge of knowing the Cures' identities a secret from the girls, so she doesn't invade on the girls' privacy.

- She shares her given name with Tabata Nao from Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart, and Midorikawa Nao from Smile Pretty Cure!.
- She shares her voice actress with Tachi Kyoko from Go! Princess Pretty Cure.
- She is the sixth mother to retain her surname after marriage. The others being Yukishiro Aya, Kasugano Maria, Momozono Ayumi, Amanogawa Stella, and Amamiya Kaede.
