The X Borgs are the basic foot soldiers of the Armada.
History
The exact origins of X Borgs relative to the history of the Armada is not known. They appear to be manufactured en masse, and are most often dumped onto an invaded planet in large batches by giant magnets.
Thousands of them were immediately sent to Earth, along with hundreds of Bruisers, when the Armada arrived after the Mega Rangers destroyed the Messenger.

- Group Tactics: When assembled in combat, X Borgs can act on a coordinated basis as a unison for group attacks against the opponent.
- Standard Intellect: Unlike Loogies, X Borgs bear enough cognition to operate systems and aid in the maintenance of their military.

- Clubs: The X Borgs wield silver clubs to aid them in combat.
- Launcher: The clubs are capable of firing missiles, light blue energy blasts, and green energy projectiles or beams.
- Rifle: The clubs can also be used as blaster rifles when flipped around.

Etymology
- These grunts are named for the designs of the letter X that appear on their bodies.
- Borg derives from the word cyborg, and generally refers to a robot in science fiction even if it is not a cyborg.
