The Wii is a game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo. The Wii was Nintendo's seventh generation console and featured heavy usage and marketing of motion controls. It was released on November 19, 2006 in North America; December 2, 2006 in Japan; December 7, 2006 in Australia; and December 8, 2006 in Europe.
