Team AWD is an exploration team in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Time, Darkness, and Sky . It consists of Weavile, the leader, Drapion, and Arbok. The group is a background team in Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and is the main antagonist of the Special Episode Here Comes Team Charm in Explorers of Sky.
Throughout the main game, Team AWD can be seen searching for Zero Isle, an island filled with incredibly difficult dungeons and rare treasures. In the post-game, Team AWD finally finds the isle they've been searching for the same time it becomes available to the Player. Later, they can be found in Treasure Town after failing to conquer the isle's dungeons, but resolve to overcome them.
Here Comes Team Charm
Team AWD travels to Boulder Quarry in order to find the treasure inside of it. It is revealed that Team AWD has a reputation for being thieves and crooks who aren't above attacking other teams inside of dungeons. When they arrive, they scare off all the other present exploration teams except for Team Charm. The two teams quickly butt heads, but Weavile breaks it up and promises the two teams will finish their quarrel when they next meet and Team AWD proceeds into Boulder Quarry.
Soon after, a Sentret asks Team Charm to punish Team AWD because they attacked his exploration team and scared his teammates out of adventuring. Team Charm promises to deliver justice to Team AWD when they next meet.
When Team Charm reaches the end of Limestone Cavern, the find a treasure chest that turns out to be empty. Team AWD arrives immediately after this and believes that Team Charm already claimed the treasure. Team AWD then attacks to steal the treasure and Team Charm fights back to get payback for Sentret. While Team Charm initially gets the advantage, neither side refuses to back down and both prepare to resume fighting. However, Wigglytuff intervenes and reveals both sides had been tricked, by the guardian of Boulder Quarry. The guardian is revealed to be a Ditto who admits he hindered every by stealing Wigglytuff's food and pitting Team Charm and Team AWD against each other by transforming into Sentret. Ditto then shows the explorers the treasure of Boulder Quarry; a Time Gear. Knowing the consequences of taking a Time Gear, Team AWD gives up the exploration, Weavile stating it is something no they are willing to steal.
After all the explorers leave Boulder Quarry, Weavile and her teammates promise to finish their feud with Team Charm next time and the team departs.
