Meg

This Slugma, nicknamed Meg, is a Fire-type Pokémon owned by Flannery.

Biography

Meg first appeared when she and Mag accidentally set Flannery's hair on fire during Flannery's training.^[1]

After her Magcargo got defeated, Flannery sent her Slugma, Meg, against Ash's Corphish, though Ash swapped Corphish with Treecko. Treecko dodged Meg's Flamethrower and attacked with Quick Attack, but failed, as Magcargo's Reflect was still in place. Meg used Smog to cover itself, causing Treecko to randomly attack with Bullet Seed. Meg was not hit by the attack and damaged Treecko with Body Slam. Treecko managed to free itself by using Bullet Seed on Meg. Treecko dodged Meg's Flamethrower, but got its leg burned. Ash called Treecko back and sent Corphish. Corphish managed to blow away Meg's Smog by using Crabhammer and proceeded to attack it with Vice Grip. However, Meg's Yawn caused Corphish to become asleep, allowing Meg to burn it with Flamethrower. Ash swapped Corphish with Pikachu, who dodged Meg's Flamethrower. Pikachu, using Quick Attack, had failed to inflict damage on Meg, but managed to destroy Reflect. Meg continued using Smog, covering itself in the smoke and managed to avoid Pikachu's Iron Tail and burn him with Flamethrower. Using Thunderbolt, Pikachu electrified the smoke, dealing serious damage to Meg. Meg launched Yawn, but Pikachu prevents it by using Quick Attack, hitting the former. Using Thunder, Pikachu defeated Meg.^[2]
