Pokémon the Series: Gold and Silver
Marcello met Sophia on a field of Sunflora and married her. Ages later, they heard many stories and began to tell them to people as if they were the characters in such stories. Years later, the heroes found a Sunkern, which Marcello and Sophia took care of. They departed to the field where Sophia and Marcello met each other. Though Team Rocket froze them, Sunkern's Sunny Day melted the snow. After Team Rocket were defeated, Sophia and Marcello witnessed as the Sunflora joined the Sunkern, who evolved into Sunflora. With that done, they took a picture with the Sunflora.
