Imposter (Japanese: かわりもの, Hepburn: Kawari Mono) is a hidden Ability exclusive to Ditto, introduced in Generation V.

Effect

When the Pokémon enters battle it transforms into the opposing Pokémon, copying their move set and Abilities.

Strangely, the ability's name uses an alternative spelling to the word. The more commonly and widely used spelling substitutes the 'e' with an 'o'.
