This Scizor, nicknamed Blade, is a Bug/Steel owned by Shingo.

Biography

Blade is extremely powerful and well raised, as Shingo wins every battle with it. It proved to be a tough opponent against Ash's Heracross, but Heracross managed to defeat it in the end.

Trivia

Like his trainer Shingo, Blade is featured in a Kids' WB bumper (though the former is erased from the scene) where Ash tries to catch the Pokémon but fails when the Poké Ball is caught and subsequently crushed, causing an explosion and a startled look on Ash's face.
