DC Comics Since 1934 DC Comics is an American comic book company that is known for being the creator of notable superheroes such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern. While DC's well-known villains include Lex Luther, the Joker, Darkseid, Poison Ivy, Doomsday, Sinestro, Reverse-Flash and Black Adam.

Inspiration of the Pyjamasques

Early on, before the creation of the Pyjamasques book series. Romuald Racioppo had an interest on DC superhero - Batman, and has featured him in his illustrations such as a comic strip and two pages, even a superhero expy of Batman on a page about heroes.

As Romuald started work on the Pyjamasques book series, he created the titular characters whom shown resemblance with the Batman who serves as the series' origin point. The author would also leave hints in some of the books such as the appearance of the Batmobile "Les Pyjamasques et la soupe à la citrouille" and the appearance of Energuman - an expy of Batman, to let the viewers acknowledge that his work was inspired by DC Comics' superheroes.
