• The speedway is named after Buy n Large, the megacorporation from the 2008 Pixar film, WALL-E.
• This is the second BnL Easter egg in the Cars franchise; the first one had appeared in Tokyo Mater.
• This race at the 2016 piston cup season was the last race of Rex Revler, Bruce Miller, the apple racer, Jack DePost and Floyd Mulvihill,
