The Incredibles
Splashdown was a Super whose secret identity was an oceanographer. Prior to the events of the film, he was involved in a suit malfunction which involved his cape being sucked into the vortex of a waterspout. It is unknown whether this killed him or not as he is listed as missing in action in his NSA file.
Abilities
Splashdown possessed the ability to fly, as well as numerous water-based powers such as underwater high-speed travel, the ability to breathe underwater and communication with underwater lifeforms. His weakness was dehydration, which meant that he needed to to remain intensely hydrated.
Personality
In his NSA file, Splashdown is noted as being fiercely independent and having an obsession with finding the lost city of Atlantis.
Trivia
- He is the only known NSA superhero whose fate has been left unknown, since nothing in-story indicates whether the accident with his cape killed him or not.
- Splashdown is one of the few heroes to not have an audio recording in the NSA Files bonus feature. The others are Macroburst, Meta Man, Plasmabolt, and Stratogale.
