Mockiwi

A Mockiwi is an enemy encountered in Hey! Pikmin. It resembles a round, yellow bird, with a wide beak that it uses to scoop up Pikmin. Supposedly, it was once able to fly, but its wings have disappeared through evolution.

"Its large beak is a holdover from when its kind could fly, but the wings are totally vestigial now. It spends all its time either eating or sleeping. Hmm...reminds me of a certain pooch back on Hocotate."

Battle Strategy

Hey! Pikmin

Mockiwi are first encountered in the first level in the game, and are very easy to defeat. Just toss a few Pikmin onto its back and let them jump away until its health is depleted. It will not be able to shake them off in time.

Mockiwi cannot swim, so it is also possible to kill them by guiding them into water, where they will fall and drown to death.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The Mockiwi will appear as an attack Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
