Naval is a dungeon in Phantasy Star II. Depending on whichever choices the player makes, Naval can be taken on as the third, fourth, fifth, or sixth dungeon of the third act of the game.
Naval is one of the four dungeons on Dezo that appear when the Prism is entrusted to Rolf by Lutz at the Esper Mansion, and thus requires the Prism to be in the inventory of someone in Rolf's party in order to access. Naval is the most remote of the four Dezolian Prism dungeons, as there is no town situated closely to it; as such, navigation of the Skure Spaceport is required each time the player wishes to reach Naval. While the the enemies situated therein are among the toughest in the Dezolian prism dungeons, its layout of five floors is rather straightforward and thus much easier to navigate; this combination of factors means Naval is often taken as the last of the four Dezolian Prism dungeons. Naval is where the party obtains the Neishield and Neiemel, two of the eight items Lutz requests Rolf's party to procure in order to take on the final challenge.
