Abion is a large town in Phantasy Star that is located at the northwestern tip of Palma's northern continent. It is notable for not only being the home of Dr. Mad, but also having a special fast food shop known to be the only place in all of Algol where polymetryl can be bought.

Dr. Mad's House
- "Hey, bring that cat over here!"
— Dr. Mad upon noticing guests, one of which being the Musk Cat Myau, arrive at his house.
Dr. Mad's House is a single floor dungeon where the mad scientist Dr. Mad himself is fought. He will demand to see Myau and, if his wish is granted, will immediately kill the musk cat in front of Alis Landale and her companions. Regardless of whether Myau is surrendered to him or not, Dr. Mad will attack the party.
When Dr. Mad is defeated, he will relinquish some meseta and the Laconian Pot that was in his possession.
