He is the sixth pup to serve as an antagonist.
Claw and Apollo the Super-Pup are the only pups in the series who haven't been seen driving a vehicle.
Claw is the first Doberman featured in the PAW Patrol series.
He used to be a knight of Barkingburg, but when his attempt to tame a dragon and fly it over the kingdom backfired, he was stripped of his knight role by the Princess of Barkingburg for breaking one of their most important rules: "Never disturb a dragon".
- He is a Wandering Knight as his motivations are proved by courtly love or chivalric ordeals.
- He is also a Mercenary as his motivation aligns with the Duke of Flappington.
His pup tag depicts the same crown that represents Barkingburg, but his has a crack through it, indicating he's a corrupt knight.
- His pup tag also resembles the ones the PAW Patrol have on their own armors.
He is around the same height as Chase.
His pup pack contains a claw arm, somewhat similar to the one Rex uses, though he often has trouble getting it to work correctly.
Similar to the pups in the Ruff-Ruff Pack, Claw does not appear to have an owner.
He is the second dog to have a British accent, following Sweetie.
Like Marshall, Claw seems to have his own clumsy habits as pointed out by the Duke of Flappington.
Claw is the only pup character without a vehicle. Instead of a vehicle, he rides on his dragon, Sparks.
He is the second pup antagonist to be featured in toy lines.
