Crossovers

Paladins has partnered with several different companies throughout the years in order for the game to include Crossover content, as well as sometimes appear in other media itself.

List of Crossovers

Smite

Paladins has easily received the most crossover related content from its fellow Hi-Rez game, Smite.

For starters, players who purchased the game's Founder's Pack, among other rewards, received the God of War skin for Fernando, with said skin being based on Smite's interpretation of Ares, a Greek god, though unlike other crossovers thus far, this would also include Paladins making an appearance in Smite with Fernando himself being available as a skin for Ares, complete with a unique voice pack.

Following this, Paladins would receive its most notable piece of Smite content, a character from the game becoming a playable champion in Paladins, in this case, being Grover. In Smite, Grover served as a mostly silent mount and part of the moveset for the game's interpretation of Sylvanus, a Roman god. Though Sylvanus and their owl companion didn't accompany Grover, he brought along a brand new axe (nearly a lantern) for a weapon, and finally broke his silence.

At later points, Buck and Lian would also receive skins seemingly drawing heavy inspiration from Smite, with Buck's Buckules skin seemingly taking heavy inspiration from Smite's interpretation of Hercules, a Roman god, while Lian's Goddess Lian skin would take heavy inspiration from Smite's interpretation of Hera, a Greek goddess.

Beyond this, Paladins Strike would also receive Smite inspired content, with Grohk, Kinessa, and Terminus receiving skins based on Smite's interpretation of Poseidon, Neith, and Chaac respectively.

Team Fortress 2

To celebrate Paladins entering Open Beta and launching on Steam, a skin based on the Engineer from Team Fortress 2 was added, which came with a unique voice pack as well.

gen:LOCK

Launching on July 21st, 2021, the Gen:LOCK Crossover Pass brought content from Rooster Teeth's animated show, gen:LOCK, into Paladins, adding a handful of appropriately themed content, the most notable of which being the various skins.

The skins featured:

• Julian Chase as Viktor
• Cameron "Cammie" MacCloud as Maeve
• Yasamin Madrani as Lex
• Kazu Iida as Zhin
• Valentina Romanyszyn as Kinessa

Additional characters such as Dr. Rufus Weller, Nemesis, and Cammie's robotic pet Nugget also make appearances in the pass.

Rambo

On February 10th, 2022, a skin based on John Rambo from the Rambo franchise was released for Viktor via Prime Gaming. The skin originally featured the character wearing a black tank top, though this was later changed to a regular black shirt for no apparent reason.

Monstercat

Launching on March 23rd, 2022, the Monstercat Crossover Pass brought content themed around various Monstercat artists, into Paladins, adding a handful of appropriately themed content, the most notable of which being the various skins, some of which were featured in the Crossover Pass, while others were released via Prime Gaming.

The skins featured:

• Justin OH as Khan
• GG Magree as Skye
• WHIPPED CREAM as Cassie
• Bossfight as Koga

With the exception of Bossfight, each of the skins is voiced by their respective artist.

RWBY

Launching on June 29th, 2022, the RWBY Crossover Pass brought content from Rooster Teeth's animated show, RWBY, into Paladins, adding a handful of appropriately themed content, the most notable of which being the various skins.

The skins featured:

• Ruby Rose as Vora
• Weiss Schnee as Furia
• Blake Belladonna as Saati
• Yang Xiao Long as Imani
• Salem as Seris
• Qrow Branwen as Corvus

Additional characters such as a young Maria Calavera, Grimm Dragons, as well as Ruby and Yang's pet dog Zwei also make appearances in the pass.

NIGHTMODE

Launching on October 12th, 2022, the Electronica Chest would have two skins themed around a few NIGHTMODE artists added. These skins included Eliminate as Androxus, and PEEKABOO as Moji.
