Seattle[1][3] is a major coastal seaport city and the seat of King County, in the U.S. state of Washington.
History
At some point between 2020 and 2024, Seattle is attacked by a Kaiju and a Jaeger is deployed to stop the creature from destroying the city, with the Jaeger being destroyed mid-combat.[1]
During Stacker Pentecost's debriefing with the United Nations on the failure of the Jaeger Program, Seattle is one of the mentioned cities affected by the evolving strategy of the Kaiju.[1]
Trivia
- Pacific Rim suggests that Romeo Blue was the Jaeger destroyed in Seattle, but Travis Beacham says the scene in the film doesn't necessarily confirm this as it would be a potential spoiler.[4][5]
